The number of American students studying in China has dropped dramatically and is climbing slowly post-pandemic. However, numerous obstacles remain, from short-term logistical issues to longer-term structural issues. How can both sides work together to address these issues and kickstart American student mobility to China?
This workshop is designed to address issues and solutions relevant to international education administrators from both the US and China. It is organized by the China Education Association for International Exchange (CEAIE) and the US-China Education Trust (USCET), with support from the Institute of International Education and NAFSA. Participants will receive an overview of selected short-term study programs available in China, for use as a sample reference point during the discussions.
Participants from around the US are invited to join virtually. Participants in China may join virtually or in person—CEAIE will host interested participants at CEAIE’s Beijing office at the Yifu Conference Center, No. 160 Fuxingmen Nei Dajie, Xicheng District, Beijing 北京市西城区复兴门内大街160号,逸夫会议中心一层会议室. Please contact CEAIE for in-person registration.
