Building Bridges: USCET and CEAIE

On May 23rd, 2023, USCET met with a visiting delegation from CEAIE in Washington, DC. Their discussions focused on how USCET and CEAIE can work together towards their joint goals of promoting US-China mutual understanding and invigorating bilateral education exchanges.

During the pandemic, USCET and CEAIE established productive platforms for disseminating expert information and encouraging broad-based dialogue. In March 2021, they co-hosted the webinar, Rebuilding US-China Education and Exchange, and in October 2021, they convened at the webinar, US-China Roundtable on Innovation and Competition Legislation. They are now discussing future collaborations to help jumpstart bilateral education exchanges after the disruptions of the pandemic and embark on “new beginnings.”
