Blinken Comments and USCET Survey Underscore Lasting Value of Student Exchanges

In a recent visit to NYU Shanghai, China, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken underscored the critical role of student exchange programs in strengthening relations between the United States and China. In April 2024, our Three Decades of Chinese Students in America, 1991-2021 survey was featured on ShareAmerica, illuminating the enduring impact of Chinese students in the United States on furthering cultural ties between the two countries. Such ties include the majority of Chinese respondents saying that they continue to fondly look back on their American school experiences.
