On April 15th, USCET launched its Women’s Media Development and Leadership competition which pays special attention to providing a more diverse and rational data-based discussion forum for women’s issues in China. Potential topics in this area of competition include stories about women’s social roles, career development, female media professionals, women’s role in media education, issues faced in the work place, and more. The competition will run from April 8th to July 28th with a shortlist of competitors announced on September 6th. Then, the China Data Conference will host a forum titled “Women’s Development and Leadership” to be held October 29-30th showcasing women’s professional leadership, publishing an annual report with data concerning women’s career development, and recognizing the top three winners from the competition. USCET is proud to help launch this competition as part of its Advancing Women in Media Leadership program.
