Raquel Liang

PROGRAM & COMMUNICATIONS INTERN

Raquel Liang is a Program and Communications Intern at the US-China Education Trust (USCET) for the fall semester 2025. She assists with communication, operations, research, and program development. 

Raquel is currently a Master of Public Policy candidate at the George Washington University, with a concentration on foreign policy, as well as science and tech policy. Prior to her MA Public Policy candidacy, she earned her BA Hons International Studies from the University of Nottingham, Ningbo, China, where she completed her dissertation on US environmental policy with distinction. Currently Her research interests focus on US-China relations, cross-Strait relations, and climate policy.

Before USCET, she was a research intern at the John L. Thornton China Center at the Brookings Institution.

Raquel Liang目前担任美中教育基金会2025年秋季学期的项目与传播实习生，协助开展传播、运营、研究及项目开发等工作。

她目前就读于乔治·华盛顿大学公共政策硕士项目，主修外交政策，并兼顾科技政策方向。在攻读硕士学位之前，她于宁波诺丁汉大学取得国际关系与事务荣誉学士学位，并以优异成绩完成了关于美国气候政策的毕业论文。她目前的研究兴趣集中在美中关系、两岸关系以及气候政策。

在加入USCET之前，她曾在布鲁金斯学会约翰·桑顿中国中心担任研究实习生。
