On April 19, The USCET delegation had a lively discussion with CICIR and PANGOAL about the recent Trump-Xi summit held in Palm Beach, Florida. USCET and the think tanks offered insight into each society’s perspective of overall US-China relations. One theme was obvious throughout the day – the US and China are able to listen to each other and empathize through people-to-people exchange. PANGOAL leader Wang Dong said it best, “What is most important is that we are creating discussion, not that we come to the same conclusion.”
