Irene Zhang is a Program and Communications Intern at the US-China Education Trust (USCET) for the fall semester 2026. She assists with communications, operations, research, and program development.
Irene graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park with a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems. She is interested in cross-cultural communication, educational exchange, and strengthening mutual understanding between the United States and China.
Before joining USCET, Irene interned with WeCare, a health technology company in Singapore. She also held leadership and volunteer roles with the Chinese Students and Scholars Association at the University of Maryland. Irene looks forward to contributing her cross-cultural perspective and experience to USCET’s programs and mission.

Irene 毕业于马里兰大学帕克分校，获信息系统理学学士学位。她对跨文化沟通、教育交流以及增进中美两国相互理解有着浓厚兴趣。
加入 USCET 之前，Irene 曾在新加坡健康科技公司 WeCare 实习。她也曾在马里兰大学中国学生学者联合会担任学生干部并参与志愿服务。Irene 希望将自己的跨文化视角与实践经验融入 USCET 的项目与工作中，为机构使命贡献力量。
