Jia Wang

Jia Wang is a rising junior at The George Washington University’s Elliott School of International Affairs, majoring in International Affairs with a concentration in International Development and Economics. Her work and research focus on critical issues such as poverty eradication, the socio-economic impacts of China’s Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), economic development, and trade dynamics among global stakeholders.

Excited to join the U.S.-China Education Trust, Jia is enthusiastic about advancing U.S.-China relations through education—a cornerstone for fostering mutual understanding. Her dedication to cross-border collaboration is further demonstrated through research on poverty alleviation in Tibet and BRI’s influence in Africa, as well as her leadership in the Academic Department of the Chinese Development Student Think Tank, where she hosts discussions on global economic and political affairs.

Jia Wang是乔治-华盛顿大学埃利奥特国际事务学院的一名大三学生，主修国际事务，专业方向为国际发展与经济。她感兴趣的领域和研究方向是消除贫困、中国 “一带一路 ”倡议（BRI）的社会经济影响、经济发展以及全球利益相关者之间的贸易动态等关键问题。

Jia Wang很期待加入美中教育信托基金，她热衷于通过教育——促进相互理解的基石——推动美中关系。她在西藏扶贫和金砖倡议对非洲的影响方面的研究，以及她在中国发展学生智库学术部主持全球经济和政治事务讨论方面的领导能力，进一步体现了她对跨境合作的奉献精神。
