USCET is pleased to provide an English translation to a recent interview with Professor Wang Jisi, published in the American Studies journal on occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the Institute of American Studies under Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS). Professor Wang is dean of the School of International Studies, Peking University, and director of the Center for International and Strategic Studies, Peking University. He recently co-authored Addressing US-China Strategic Distrust with Kenneth Lieberthal through the John L. Thornton China Center at the Brookings Institute.

王缉思教授是北京大学国际关系学院院长以及北京大学国际战略研究院主任。他最近与李侃如（Kenneth Lieberthal）共同著作《中美战略互疑：解析与对应》，出版于布鲁金斯学会约翰·桑顿中国中心。
