Financial Media Institute 2011
Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) will host the FMI for the second time in 2011. Victor Fung, HKBU’s FMI Director in 2009, will again direct this year’s institute. Mr. Fung has more than 27 years of experience in journalism, including newspapers such as the Wall Street Journal Asia, South China Morning Post and Ming Pao Daily News and seven years as Editor-in-Chief of Reader’s Digest Asia. He is an active member of the News Executives’ Association.
The FMI is an intensive, week-long program, and is open to fourth year and graduate journalism and communication students with high levels of both Mandarin Chinese and English from USCET’s Media Education Consortium member schools.
