USCET’s efforts toward Elevating the Asian American Experience amplify Asian American voices and stories as an integral part of understanding contemporary American society and culture. The Asian American Authors Series introduces outstanding Asian American authors and their literary works to American and Chinese audiences through discussions of their experiences with American multiculturalism, highlighting the voices and perspectives that shape contemporary American literature and society.
The Asian Women Trailblazers series recognizes the accomplishments of trailblazing AAPI women leaders while spotlighting the contributions of Asians to the fabric of American society. By providing these trailblazers a platform to share their stories, the series helps to inspire the next generation and reinforces the vital role that Asian Americans play in shaping the nation's identity and future. Together, these programs foster deeper appreciation of the Asian American experience as essential to understanding the complexity and richness of American identity, while building bridges of cultural understanding between American and Chinese audiences.
