
David Chu is a Program and Communications Intern at the US-China Education Trust (USCET) for Summer 2026. He assists with communication, operations, research, and program development.
David is a recent graduate from Georgetown University’s Master of Science in Foreign Service (MSFS) program, where he primarily focuses on political and security challenges surrounding the U.S., Taiwan and China. He previously double-majored as an Honors Student in Political Science and Global Studies at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, while participating in study abroad programs in Europe under the U.S. State Department’s Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship program.
During his studies, David has also worked extensively in foreign affairs and public diplomacy, as well as in humanitarian aid and English education, with experience in non-profits, think tanks, and government agencies. He is excited to bring his knowledge and experience to USCET to promote better mutual understanding between the U.S. and China.

大维近日毕业于乔治城大学的外交硕士 (MSFS) 项目,主要研究与美国、台湾、及中国相关的政治和安全挑战。此前,他以荣誉书生身份毕业于伊利诺伊大学厄巴纳-香槟分校 (UIUC),并双主修政治学与全球研究,且通过美国国务院的吉尔曼国际奖学金项目 (Gilman Scholarship) 赴欧洲参加交换学生项目。
在求学期间,大维也在外交事务、公共关系、人道主义援助和英语教育等领域积累了丰富经历,并在非营利组织、智库和政府机构工作。他期望能将自己的知识与经验带到USCET,以利更佳促进美中之间的相互理解。
